This web site provides an on-line resource for participants in five subsurface programmes that have been launched by ITF since 2001. It provides a secure environment through which participants can share up-to-date information.

The five programmes are:

	Structurally complex reservoirs
	Seismic reservoir characterisation
	Low permeability reservoirs - accessing the potential
	High resolution imaging
	Reservoir and well bore geomechanics

These programmes represent an exciting and different approach to cross industry funded R&D. Beginning with a clear statement of business needs from ITF member companies, ITF was able to attract innovative solutions from leading researchers around the world. From this process the projects that form the five programmes were selected.
